I Agree...Great For Pet Owners May 5, 2010 Sunshine (Waldorf, MD USA) I have two cats and with that I get treated to cleaning up a hairball or two at least once a week. I feed them canned cat food. I also have plush vanilla colored carpet upstairs and a light oatmeal Berber carpet downstairs which makes cleaning cat puke a real chore to undertake. Any pet household would agree. However, with "Formula 212" mixed for spot cleaning (per the directions) it is a breeze to clean. I mean a "real" breeze! The dark puke and bile stains come right out. Another benefit of this soapless product is that once you have thoroughly removed the stain it does not return. I have also used it to spot clean other soiled areas of carpet and on upholstery. It truly is an amazing product. I only rate it a four star because I have never needed to mix this product to use in a heavier concentrated formula which is recommended for tough jobs. However, I would feel confident of its cleaning capabilities based on how great it works in a light formula.
Great for pet houses October 2, 2009 One Bug 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I only write this review as I see one other review here that is not so good. I don't think any carpet cleaning product works well on all stains. This product works great for oily stains, light dirt, and most importantly, cat puke. My darling kitty has a lot of furballs and frequently coughs them up, along with a bit of her dried food which leaves a bright yellowish orange stain on the carpet. With this stuff (and I don't even bother with the steam cleaner typically) it just erases all those awful cat stains everywhere, so my house once again feels like a nice, clean place to live. I highly recommend for people with cats like mine!!
safe as rain water September 1, 2009 V. Yoder (In.) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I believe it is safe as rain water. The only problem is that is all the more cleaning power it had. I used it as a prespray for a stem cleaning application and was totally disappointed. The spots I had before were still there, it may have removed about 10% of the the spot and I believe that is being generous. I cleaned other carpets with a product called "Awesome" that is for steam cleaning carpets that costs $6.30 a gallon with a lot greater success.
