This is not the official Hoover Part #40112050, as I was led to believe. It is made by some off-brand mfr, Crucial Vacuum. The filter has a black rubber gasket, not the white one that is on the actual OEM product. Amazon: you should ask this vendor to correct this. Beware!

The filters for these machines can be quite expensive and difficult to come by. These were delivered right to my door in a very short period of time, they were considerably cheaper and work great!
