I trusted my instinct and went with the positive reviews and it paid off these bags are great. Everything is the same except that piece of tape on the tab and all it is , is a touchof class...when the bag is full and u remove it you place the plastic tab over the hole and tape it so u dont get sprayed with the dirt! how great is that? So go ahead if u must and pay that other price if u want to but for me and mine Envirocare bags all the way!
when u go to choose where to get ur bags from i got mine from vacuum supply store and the cost was still great and under or equal to the other sellers. so pay attention when u select some offer free shipping and just charge a little more on price and u may still comeout cheaper i did.

I bought these bags for a new Oreck XL upright vacuum that we got for Christmas/2009. With the original bag, the Oreck vacuum cleaner had very, very good suction power, and it picked up everything that our older vacuum would not. However, these generic bags don't work at all. With this bag installed, our new Oreck XL won't pick up anything at all because there is absolutely no suction. The fit must be poor enough that it cannot create a vacuum.
You're throwing your money away if you buy these. Just buy the Oreck brand replacement bags - those cost more, but at least they work.

Good bags as soon as you get them on. They are a little bit hard to get to stay on because they have some sort of tape you have to work with. I would reccomend them for the price however.
