The hose that comes with the Wind Tunnel models is just not practical for use with the attachments when one needs to reach. The longer hose really does make cleaning blinds, ceiling fixtures, closets, and corners much easier.

My Hoover upright came with a hose just long enough to clean anything within a third of a milimeter of it, useless. I got this handy hose. The reviews aren't kidding folks, it might be 20 feet long, if you tied one end to a brick wall and stretched it out with an oxen team. You might get 6 feet out of it. Might. It's a great heavy, durable material. But it's heavy. My vacuum was already top heavy. Better than stock, still lacking. I'd give this a 3.5 stars and I consider myself pretty liberal with the stars. Works with my Hoover Tempo Widepath Upright Vacuum, Bagged, U5140-900, but is not a perfect fit.

I got this hose extension for my Hoover Tempo WidePath since the hose that comes with it is super short and is a
flimsy plastic material that bends and collapses with use. Poor quality standard hose!!
This hose, though, is a long step up in the quality and usefulness range-it doesn't collapse when you bend it and even though it is only about 17 ft.(actually 20 ft with extensions)it is a great hose and it fits the vacuum just like the original hose-you just have to wrap it around the vacuum a couple of times-no big deal though.
I would recommend this to anyone that wants the extra convenience you will get from this product!

We already have one of these hoses that we purchased locally (for more $$) but we needed another one for our vacuum on the upper level. These hoses look like they are short - but they stretch waaaay out - they are great! Arrived on time & was just what we wanted!

This is a product that sounds much better than it really functions. First of all, it isn't 20 feet long. It doesn't stretch easily, pulls over the vacuum cleaner whenever it's stretched very far, and it only extends usefully about 8-10 feet. On the box it comes in it states that with all extensions and tubes added, then it reaches 20 feet. This product is simply falsely marketed as something that it is not. It should be marked as a 10 foot extension hose. For the price, it is grossly overpriced. It's worth about $10. I don't think two of them connected together would stretch out easily to 20 feet. And, you had better have someone around to hold up the vacuum cleaner while using it. It's easier to move the vacuum cleaner than use this.
